You start from a realistic baseline, adjust based on sleep, pain, or mental fatigue, and choose only the spells that truly matter, remembering that each and every action actually costs you magic.You cannot split or stack energy, which protects you from stretching yourself too thin, and you are encouraged to leave space for rest, joy, and, importantly, the unexpected.
