Most people glide through conversations without realizing there are layers of meaning at work. Neurodivergent thinkers often feel that those layers are a secret code. This deck lays the code out in plain view. It shows the signals hidden in tone, timing, and word choice. It makes the invisible patterns visible.
Flip a card and find a doorway into how people actually communicate.
Flip another and start spotting patterns that can change the way you move through work, friendship, and love.
Here's the concept: There are 4 layers of subtext between a neurodivergent person and a black neurotypical southern woman. Your average neurodivergent person has zero layers of subtext in their conversation. A neurotypical northern white man has one, a white northern woman has two, a southern white woman has three, a black southern neurotypical woman has four, and thats why its so hard for a neurodivergent person to communicate because youre basically speaking two different languages, and where you are presuming NO subtext they are presuming ALLthe subtext, and it creates a lot of conflict. Neurodivergent people have to learn to read subtext to communicate.
