DIRECUTIVE DYSFUNCTION™ CARD DECK
A theatre-themed system for executive dysfunction
Over 500 cards, three levels
Neurodivergent people are not broken versions of neurotypical people. We are running a different operating system. Motivation works differently. Task initiation is a neurological event, and most resources completely ignore that.
These are called Direcutive Dysfunction Cards for Executive Dysfunction, which is a stupid little pun and also extremely literal. They exist because most tools for neurodivergent people are not actually made for neurodivergent people. They are made for neurotypical people’s idea of us.
My brain does not move because it is told to. It moves because something is interesting, novel, urgent, playful, or emotionally charged. That is just how the wiring works. So I made cards.
Each card gives you a short insight, a Stage Note, and a Cue Prompt. You pull one card. You try it or you ignore it. Either is allowed.
The deck is split into three levels:
Novice( THIS PACK!!!) Designed for moments when your nervous system is loud and Nothing seems important or FUN
Focuses on Creative entry points, reframing, and reducing activation energy so starting feels possible again.
Low-pressure INCUP cues that prioritize engagement over productivity, helping you CARE before you move.
Intermediate adds strategy, working with momentum, novelty, energy, and time distortion.
Advanced leans into performance, challenge, and stakes, hacking motivation through play, role, and meaning.
You do not have to use them in order. You do not have to graduate. You are allowed to pull from whatever deck meets you where you are that day. That flexibility is intentional.
Cards are small. Cards are portable. Cards don’t demand your entire life. You can interact with them when you have energy and forget they exist when you don’t.
Digital download. Print or use on your device.

very confused on how I am supposed to use it but that is my fault, the cards itself look great
I really like these, printing was really easy
Very aesthetic and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for making these cards, I saw the account on Instagram and while I have only got myself started in this deck, I couldn’t describe how happy I feel to have some ideas and help to get through days that I can’t start doing the things I want to. No one in my social circle has ever given me any sound advice or gave the support I felt I needed, not even with therapy, so I have felt very alone and think I would never reach my goals and dont know what to do. It is strange to put it in this way but I felt seen and loved, and this gives me a place to start to think of what works for me as well. Thank you so much for your work put in this!
Instant results! Game changer. I can’t wait to try the other sets, and I’m excited to see the work you do in the future. Thank you so much!
